BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan), also known as the Bangtan Boys, is a seven-member South Korean boy band formed by Big Hit Entertainment. But in 2017 their name also would be known as Beyond the scene.

"Beyond the scene" is a new brand identity meaning "growing youth BTS who is going beyond the realities they are facing, and going forward".
In 2012 their official Twitter account was launched. In 2013 their introduction to the public was announced.
Like their career before and now their albums sales were increasing over the years.
In 2014 the same day release"Boy In Luv" peaks on Billboard Chart Albums at 3rd position making it the first milestone on Billboard World Albums Chart. In September the same year they launched "Hip Hop monster" webtoon series.
Their eight MV "I Need U" give them more attention overseas. Their "Dope" MV became more popular that their other ones, also got 3rd in Billboard World Digital Chart.
Their fourteen MV was the one that gave a big push to BTS to be recognized overseas, Wings album "Blood Sweat & tears" And got No.1 in Korean music serves.
2016 they get hit the first position in Billboard Social 50 chart. They won their first Daesanga "Best Album of the year" a very important award in Korea and was their first step for worldwide domination.
2017 they won "Top Social Artist Award" at the Billboard Music Awards that gave them a lot more opportunities and advantages worldwide.
They reached 11 million followers on Twitter and currently the most followed Korean Artist.
They hit 7 million followers in their V app a Korean app that artist in Korea uses.
They got 200 million views in their MV that broke a lot of record in Billboard, Spotify&iTunes. They hosted American shows like James Corden, Jimmy Kimmel, Ellen Shown, Jimmy Fallon, Good Morning American, American Got Talent, also had a lot of interviews. First Kpop to perform in American Music Awards.

What BTS does to be close to their fans and proved to be very important is that they use Twitter to update almost everyday. They also have YouTube channel, Naver V app where they do live streams.
